I don't see how this experiment is all that big a deal. Really, does anyone truly recognize anyone for who they really are? You might wake up one day and know everyone around you, and then wake up the next and be unable to recognize a single person.
I did that once, but that's because I had fainted in a ditch and got woken up by some hobos poking me with sticks. I think they were about to roll me to get my wallet, but I was awake enough then to run. I still remember the dirty, week-old pizza and milk of magnesia smell to them as they shouted at me in what I assumed to have been their attempt at English.
It was awful.
Also I guess I probably don't recognize most of you people anyway since I've been gone for a third of a year, so I don't really give a damn, nor do I really care to know you anyway.
I guess I'd just set that out there.
