[Maka's been back from the dead for almost a week now, but it's hard to believe that if her appearance is anything to go by. There are dark circles under her eyes that might fit in with the experiment this week, if not for the other factors. Her face is pale, and her hair out of it's usual style, instead hanging limply at her shoulders. ]
Blue…Green…blue…green or maybe… [The words are muttered but clear, and she laughs hollowly as she turns her attention to the screen.]
Do any of you remember the time when we couldn’t understand anything but our own language? Gaara tried to speak to me in English and it was terrible. [She laughs at the memory, but her eyes remain blank.]
I guess none of you would. Just a handful. It’s just a name to the rest of you. [Her smile widens.]
I can’t remember Gaara‘s eyes. I can’t remember if they were green or blue. They were so striking…I always noticed them. But I don’t remember anymore. [There’s a half choked sound that’s a cross between a sob and a giggle.]
He was the first one they took from me and I can’t remember the color of his eyes. Were they green or blue? [Her own eyes widen as something occurs to her and when she speaks again, her borderline hysteria is even more prominent.]
What if I f-forget Soul’s eyes? [ After a minute of staring at the feed lost in thought, she seems to remember it’s on, and cuts it.]
