I sort of-- injured myself last night, er... well, I've got cuts. And scratches. If it's not-- oh, Merlin, I'll tell you in person?

Suite 29, sort of flopped on the couch like a great lump.

Okay, I'll be there in a little while.

[And by little while, he means quite a while. But hey, it's hard trying to keep his bag clean when there's mud everywhere. He does make it there eventually though.]

[Remus waves from the couch where he is indeed curled in a lump of blankets, which are stained slightly around his chest] Hello.

What on earth happened to you?

Something that happens every month. It's really alright.

[Well that doesn't sound alright at all. He starts going through his supply bag, unpacking what is needed.]

How do you deal with this all the time? It must hurt ...

[To be fair, over time repeated damage like that doesn't hurt as much as it did at first and he knows that. But he also knows that it's impossible to truly get used to that sort of thing.]

You really do get used to it. And usually... at home, it isn't quite this bad. [And when Sirius is around to calm the wolf down, but he isn't, and James would get hurt. He's not nearly so good at wrestling]

[He's not trying to pry, or be rude, but it's just normal to ask questions while tending to someone's injuries.]
