[Fuck your video, Bucky is playing walkie talkie. It's fun.] This is Soldier to Birdie, comin' in. Got the package. I repeat, I got the package and I'm approachin' base at oh-six-hundred. Should be a safe delivery, no sign of hostiles.

[And by 'got the package', he means he's holding the hand of a certain six year old Hawkeye and leading her stealthily through the halls to the first floor cafeteria and their pillow fort. Why are they doing this? No idea. But it's entertaining. And entertaining is just what he needs right then.]

[Two can play at that.] Birdie confirming the base is ready. No suspicious behavior going around. Everything is safe for the arrival of the package.

[This is ridiculously stupid, but hey. They've somehow kidnapped bitty Hawkeye from everyone. You'd think that this wouldn't happen, but apparently these sidekicks know how to smuggle little kids out.]

[How these two managed to get the child away from all her caretakers, no one will ever know. But here is Kate, walking with Bucky, oblivious to how upset this might make people. She just likes playing, okay? And a fort sounds like fun. Besides, she likes Dick. He's a superhero! And Bucky is too. So it's okay to go with them]

[They're secretly tiny ninjas, that's how. No army of caretakers is any match for the Boy Wonder and a pint-sized Army con-man.]

Roger that, Birdie. The package has arrived. [And now he's scooping up Kate and making a run the rest of the way into the cafeteria and into their massive pillow fort, laughing a little. It's like playing with little Becca again.]

Hey Bucky! Did it take a lot to get her? [He smiles warmly at Kate and ruffles her hair a bit.] See, I told you I'd play with you. We can have a lot of fun in here alright?

[She giggles when Bucky scoops her up and starts running. This is fun already. When Dick ruffles her hair she smiles up at him, obviously thrilled by all of this] Yeah! Just like you promised.

[She's sort of holding onto the front of Bucky's shirt, because she likes him. Which is hilarious considering how things are when she's older]

[It is kind of really hilarious. Bucky beams down at her and gives her hair a little ruffle too. You have the best tiny big brothers this week, little Kate.]

We'll have lots of fun in here! You wanna see the secret room, Kate? [Of course they built a secret room into Fort Batcave. What can't they do.]

[Oh god. This is all going to be really awkward for them when they're older. Really. Awkward.]

Yeah. I bet she'll like the secret room. It's cozy too and you can take naps in there because it's comfy. [They can do everything obviously.]

Yeah! It'll be great for takin' a nap. C'mon, Kate, I'll show you. [Sadly, tiny Bucky is a lot better with kids than older Bucky, and he's awfully enthusiastic as he leads her through the fort to remove the false cushion wall that 'conceals the secret room'.]

[Dick follows after and carefully places the cushion back where Bucky moved it. He had put a few of those gross food bars in the secret room along with some bottles of water and fruit.]
