It isn't so bad. Just don't be alone. [A hypocritical statement, but what the hell. It's audio, she can't tell if he's running solo.] It's--Miss Madaraki, correct?
That's right. I'm glad to see some other people around here are actually interested in gathering information before reacting! Ah, anyway, I'll do what I can to not be alone for... however long our stay here is. It's normally a few weeks, isn't it?

[Bucky's tone is just as business-like.] I'm still at the starting area, I've been trying to contact all the younger capes in person before they head out. I'll make sure to warn about the inability to return. Good to know about the teeth, too, I was wondering what those were for. [He's been collecting them, because he has tons of pouches anyway, and it never hurts to be prepared.]
We are a team. Setting up in a train car sounds like a good idea so far, at least unless we can scout out a better place. How are the accommodations?

As cozy as any train. The main vehicle's a little on the creepy hellish side, but I'd call it considerably more passable than any of the stops. There's one--it's beautiful but something's off.
I don't know. Something's off about this entire place. [A short laugh.] I don't know if you noticed.
Hrm. I have noticed. Haven't been far yet, but I don't trust Val to send us anywhere as pleasant as this place might seem on the surface. Honestly, it's a little... down the rabbit hole, don't you think? [The 'white rabbit' is a clue.] How about the provisions situation? You mentioned teeth for bartering, found any places selling food?

[Because Batman protocol is to suddenly come out of shadows like a creeper. Or something...]
It seems as though any of the places it stops at are dangerous to set up a substitute HQ. It seems the train would be our best bet to plan together. Or at least rendezvous here at times.
[He turns sharply at the voice, tense and ready to move--but the sight jams him up, stops his breath dead and Tim would swear his heart stopped beating.
[Give him a moment, just--just a moment.
[His breath finally comes back in a weak gasp.] Three weeks. They--they last three weeks.
[He cocks his head to the side a little, raises an eyebrow. Or I guess one eyepiece got bigger then the other.
He didn't realize you'd react that way.] Sorry. Didn't think the suddenly appearing trick would make you react in that fashion. [For now, he's talking in his normal voice. He has no reason to change it otherwise.]
Alright. So we have a 'currency' for bartering. This is good at the very least. I haven't checked any of the stops yet. I'm hoping to have Robin accompany me before I do that. Have you tried any of the stops yet?
It-- [A sigh] It wasn't the appearance. [He almost asks why Dick is wearing the gear, but realizes that he's already answered that question by being in costume himself. This is who they are.] I haven't checked the stops as of yet. Wanted to establish the train's pattern before I decided to just hop off. I messaged Barnes and Power Girl--I think we could use this as a base of operation.
So that's where that little sucker goes. [America's still wandering in the Hatter's domain, amid teapots] Teeth are like money? Gross. [Is he slightly nervous about talking to Tim: yes. Does he care? Nope not at all]

And trust me--the pleasantness fades once you see the train.

[A beat.] How long do these trips last?
