[He'd checked his updates and then stood, leaving the berry on his desk. It keeps running as Tim rises and opens the door to leave his room, apparently headed for the bathroom. His bedroom door stays open, leaving it visible when Tim jerks to a stop just before turning for the bathroom. His eyes are fixed on the futon

I think we all learned from last week that there is no way to be "done" with this place. [Unless you want to be tortured for several days and then killed]

I wish I could help but....it sucks and I have no advice to offer. Sorry. [She can sympathize. She's pretty sick of this whole thing too but mostly, she's kind of tired. And it probably shows. Or...whatever the audio equivalent of something "showing" is]

[A beat, and his tone switches abruptly to something softer.] Kate, how are you recovering?

Have fun, then. [So no more nagging people about destroying property?]

[Yup, she knew that was coming] I'm fine. Alive and in one piece. That's all that matters, right? [Nevermind that everything still hurts, things are weird with Billy, she isn't talking to Tommy, Amalia is hiding and everything is basically terrible forever]

Is someone there with you?

[Tiiiiiim, stop asking questions that she can't just brush aside]

No. Everyone's been sort of quiet this week. It's fine. I can manage by myself.

[redripoff]

So I'll assume you haven't worked things out with the boys.

I talked to Billy. I told him I wasn't mad, that I understood why he did it and that's it. I think we're okay but...it's hard to tell. He's probably just feeling guilty and needs time to turn it over in his head. That's what Billy does.

As for...the other one...[Yeah, things are...kind of bad with Tommy]

I thought you two had an understanding.

[artemisaim]

Who are you talking about? Me and Billy? Or me and Tommy? And what do you mean by understanding?

[redripoff]

You and Tommy. Does that make my meaning any clearer?

[artemisaim]

Not really, no. As far as I know, me and Tommy don't have any kind of understanding. Beyond him not being allowed to randomly blow things up, of course. [Sorry, Tim. She's tired. You'll have to spell it out a little bit more clearly for her]

[How does he know...? Okay, pushing that aside for a minute. There's a long pause, followed by a sigh]

Well, that's...a weird topic. Certain...things happened during that one week where everyone was being weird. Okay, well, you probably know what happened because of the stupid communicator. But after that we decided to back way up and take things one step at a time. So. There's that. But after all this button stupidity we...kind of had a fight. And we're sort of not talking right now.
