038: Darc [Accidental Video]

[The feed switches on to show someone with their back to the camera, standing a little further off into the room. Its obvious who it is given his somewhat unusual features, and also obvious that he doesn't know the camera is recording. He's standing in front of the TV - he found it on when he entered the room - and it can be gathered from his tense

[Its a while before he answers, but he does, eventually. His voice still sounds devoid of emotion]

[Again, there's a pause before he says anything; he knows he should know better by now, but seeing himself looking so 'pathetic and helpless', he can't quite help but believe it]

I've been watching the TV for a while.

[She's hoping you haven't seen her clips to turn this around on her.]

[He's seen one or two of them, as it happens. He was watching it for a little while, not quite able to tear himself away for all that he didn't want to see it]

And you're alright? You should...destroy it.

Not all the things they're showing have happened. Yet.

Maybe they wont. Lucky.

[He doesn't sound bitter or sarcastic or anything, just deadpan....]

Most of them are things I always knew would happen. The better ones are probably just there to tease. [Why yes, she considers stuff like that suicide clip to be 'better'.]

Well, they're tricky here. You just said I shouldn't listen. So maybe you shouldn't either.

[Though for the next few days at least, its going to be very difficult for him to shake off that feeling of worthlessness and dispair he thought he had managed to mostly overcome]

[But the fire clip was a massive trigger, so she's busy grappling with that.]

[He just shrugs; he doesn't blame her, though he thinks now maybe she wont push him on the subject of his own clips too much. He can't help but take them seriously, even if he knows he should just leave it in the past where it belongs]
