Tim Wayne: Cast12: Audio [Locked 60% AGAINST Misaka #10032]

May 01, 2011 12:41

Listen, I don't know whose been teaching the older Misaka magic. Harry, I guess she had you show her something, and you saw how that went. That's for patching her up.

But she told me she's looking into learning more. Don't teach her. I will come after you. I'm not kidding.

'10032 is learning magic?' says Misaka as Misaka was unaware.

[ if she didn't know, that means Imouto was purposefully blocking the memories, which means she's hiding from her. COMMENCE POUT IN 3...2...1 ]

'Why does everyone keep secrets from Misaka?' huffs Misaka as Misaka angrily stomps her feet!

[ sorry, tim. you forget whatever LO sees, Imouto sees, so... ]

[Fuuuuuuuuuuuck]

Last Order, I don't think she means to hide it-- [she probably does] --but I don't think she gets how dangerous it is either. Can you stop her?

[ she shakes her head. ]

'Misaka should be able to see everything! 10032 is blocking it on purpose!' responds Misaka as Misaka pouts!

[ she doesn't realize magic does anything bad to espers, but it doesn't matter, she's just mad. ]

'Misaka refuses to associate with such a secretive person!' denies Misaka as Misaka has had it up to here with the lies.

But she has to listen to what you say! All I'm asking is that you give her orders not to deal with magic. Last Order, it's for her own good.

So, it's bad for her then?

I had kind of a feeling in my gut already, but...

It's seriously bad for her. Like, spontaneous injury bad for her.

Oh...Oh wow.

I'll um, make sure to, um...keep her away from it.

'Misaka would prefer that you did not lock your posts against Misaka, as it is mostly futile,' Misaka states.

If you would listen to me, I wouldn't have to.

'It is not for you to decide what Misaka does or does not do,' Misaka states firmly, annoyed at your antics.

Excuse me if I'm invested in keeping you from bleeding.

Threats: unnecessary and not appreciated. Thank you. Magic is a bad idea for that girl. Studying it? Fine. But unless she can turn off that field of hers, she needs to stay the hell away from it.

I'm not planning on giving her any instruction on how to use it, but dammit if she wants to learn about magic, she should. Girl should understand what can hurt her, and why. Keeping someone ignorant does not keep them safe.

So you're fine with her intent to continue to attempt practice, knowing full well that it causes her injury? I'm not proposing that anyone be kept ignorant, Harry. I'm just saying that a little restraint is preferable to negligent suicide.

I'm not saying she should try to actually train it. I'm saying she should figure out how much it hurts her. If people using magic around her hurts her. Restraint is important, yes, but do you really think someone as calculating as her would be so stupid as to kill herself trying to do magic? Besides, what she did before was pretty much to the full capacity a normal human can do magic. She can't do much more than that, no matter how much she learns, unless someone else supplies the power, in which case they'd get hurt.

Being calculating doesn't make a person prudent. According to cold logic, you could say that--systematically cutting yourself deeper and deeper with a knife allows you to gauge how much you can bleed before you die, but that doesn't make it a smart idea.
