There's a decent amount of open space in the rec room. He's thinking about going for a walk when he hears a noise, spots the boy. Tommy frowns for a moment before- Oh. It's that kid Damian said he was taking care of, isn't it?]
Hey, you alright?

Watching the other carefully, cautiously he replied in a quiet tone.] I'm--
I'm okay.

This kid, it's obvious he's nervous, and that brings something out in Tommy, the side of him that is decent with children. Molly was always considerably easier than the kids around this place, though. Still, when he approaches, he does it slowly, making sure his hands are visible and empty and relaxed.] You sure? You don't look so good. Somethin' wrong?

When Tommy steps near, he looks up though and watches him with extreme caution. Damian said he could trust no one--but the other, he seemed nice despite Colin's mental state and inclination to not trust those older than him.] I--
I don't remember falling asleep here.

It was silly of him. To go by the rooms. He went by Bruce's room. Tim's room. He peeked into Damian's room. The bunk bed was gone. Damian's stuff was still there. Just no Damian. He was so numb right now. He was mostly working on autopilot as he walked around. Deciding that staying around would just make his mood worst and make him more paranoid of Damian being gone, he decided to head back to his room. Well...
Dick decided to stop by the Rec room. He needed more books to read if he was going to be a bit of a shut in. He could only stay so occupied in his room for so long. That's when he spots Colin though. He makes his way over to the other, crouching down. He had a look of concern on his face.] Hey. You okay? I can get you some water. It looks like you might need it.

[He replies in a quieter tone, watching him with caution.] I'm fine.

[Oh dear. He didn't mean to scare the other so much. He raises his hands up in surrender though. Best to make sure that he knew that he wasn't going to try and hurt the other or anything of that sort. He was pretty sure with his worn down appearance, he wasn't the most easy to trust thing to look at. God damn it facility.] Hey. I'm not going to hurt you or anything. I'm just concerned. You seem to be a good friend of Damian.

[He pauses cautiously.] And Steph?

Another breath, another out. All he had to do was stand up and go back to Damian's room, he could be safe there, he could find Steph.]

Shhh. Its alright. [She was using a soft voice, like she would to Prim. Another child here.]

His voice eventually caught in his throat as he backed himself against the nearby shelf.] Who--
Who are you?

But right now? He couldn't sleep. Watching the innocent suffer and being able to do next to nothing to save them was his worst nightmare. Accelerator could wallow in his sorrow with the best of them, but he generally tended to cope with his more serious troubles by pretending they didn't bother him. He didn't pretend they didn't exist, he'd just treat them casually; like they didn't matter at all.
But that wasn't working right now. This was not his own suffering, the kind of thing he could tell himself he deserved and pass off as normal. This was the suffering of others, and that was harder for him to deal with. Most things bored him--the apathy he made himself feel towards most things to protect himself came with a price, he supposed--but his usual choice of activity during downtime was laying around doing nothing. Staring at the ceiling, the wall. And that definitely wouldn't get his mind off of anything ( ... )

Doesn't sound like fucking "nothing."
[He let out a loud, exaggerated sigh, and did his best to sound disinterested.]

[He tries to detour the other with repetitiveness and in all honesty--he didn't know what to say.]
I'm fine.
