[Shinjiro needs to remind himself to peek outside his door before leaving his room first, because he certainly wasn't expecting anyone new. Maybe he'll just casually walk the hell out of there and avoid this unneeded conversation entirely. Here's hoping Starfire doesn't notice the guy in the very flashy jacket trying to creep his way to the door leading to the hall.]

[The teenager just barely masks his annoyance. Damn it. He had all the luck. His response is low, hoping to discourage her:]

[To his credit, Shinjiro doesn't react to the floating, but he doesn't like her drawing closer like that. He tries his best to seem apathetic about it for as long as he can while distancing himself further.]

[Okay, now he can't help himself. He runs a hand over his face and pinches his temples between his fingers. Everything Starfire has said so far has bothered him, and this just takes the cake. He's bothered in record time.]

[Thankfully, even if Star was the exception, Rae was glad she understood sometimes the empath wanted privacy, even in the shared room. So, some meditation time and Rae can now feel like maybe, she can be...well, more helpful and guide to Star. For a bit.]

[Well, while Shinjiro realizes there were worse ways to word that question, he's still becoming irritated. He tries his best to slide out of the situation and make the worried look on Starfire's face cease with a low grumble:]

I'm fine. Apparently the doctors saw and gave me my medication from home.

[And he'd prefer it if he could go about his business and not have to talk at all, but won't make a big deal out of the statement Raven made. His hand slides into his pocket, and a light clinking is heard, presumably the pills in the bottle in his pocket hitting another. It's as open as he can be.]

[He's not the type to do anything Raven said, but he nods anyway. He slips back into the background as the two talk, hoping to wait until they were gone to get back to what he wanted to do. Waiting involved him laying down on the couch, but hopefully he was in the background just enough.]
