I mean, typically a well-done mystery won't throw in clues at the very end, that's kinda bad form. I watched a drama semi-recently and I don't remember the name that was supposed to be a mystery too, but it also used the "unreliable narrator" tactic so you as the audience were basically screwed in figuring out what was really going on lmao.

I don't consider those traditional mysteries though since you as the reader/watcher don't have a good chance to solve it on your own.

Unreliable narrator can be interesting at times. But I would say if it's supposed to be a mystery that they want audiences to solve, it's frustrating when they feed last minute information to tie up loose ends. It makes me feel like I wasted all that time being invested only to not have any of it matter.
