Coming up...

I'm currently watching My Queen by myself and watching Back to 1089 with my mom. We're close to finishing the latter and I'm a third of the way through the former. So it's time to think about what to watch next!

Ever Night
The internet keeps telling me how good the fight choreography is in this.

With the number of weapons he's carrying, there had better be some good fighting! So this is likely my next drama.

It's about revenge or whatnot and how the main guy might be the son of Hades or something. Hades? Are we in Greece?

Rise of Phoenixes
The internet also keeps telling me how good the main lead is in this. But it's 70 episodes!!! I don't know if I can sit through that.

Everyone is in the rain at all times in these revenge dramas. Story is about this prince trying to kill the other princes' asses for killing his brother (also a prince). I imagine I'll eventually watch this, but, 70!!!

Heavenly Sweetness, Ash-Like Frost
Sister-in-Law recommended this and we both like 3310 so I tentatively trust her recommendations.

At least they're not caught in the rain. Or maybe they just didn't want to get wet. It's about love, or something, maybe.

Legend of the Condor Heroes (2017)
Just because I can never find a good quality of the 2008 version and because a new version of Heavenly Sword Dragon Saber is coming out in 2019 and I'm going to try to watch the trilogy in order.

Never a day of rain in this drama!

Romance of the Condor Heroes
And out of obligation, I'll have to watch the second drama in the trilogy even though I always thought the story is the weakest in the second book.

Sunny days and romance when they don't have to worry about revenge and crap. I actually can't remember what the book was about!

Heavenly Sword Dragon Saber

Zhou Ziruo, about to kick (hopefully, Zhang Wuji's) ass.

Legend of Huo Buo
In my mind, I call it Legend of Hobos since it's about a couple that time travels back to ancient China (hey, did China lighten up about time traveling?) and the girl ends up a hobo while the guy ends up a rich man. Even time traveling rules won't give women a break!

I'd mainly watch it because of Ariel Lin and Vin Zhang. I also like how she's in her mid-thirties and can be paired up in a romantic drama with a guy in his twenties.

chinese drama, hsds, drama, ariel lin, television, drama series, vin zhang
