That's Lily Allen's Alfie.

The song is about her derpy brother, Alfie Allen (aka, derpy Theon Greyjoy and derpy Russian mob boss' son who pissed off John Wick in John Wick).



His face obviously says "derp" to any and all casting director.

I like how his name isn't Alfred or something British like that. It's just Alfie. It's as if his parents were even, "well, he's a derpy baby and can't have a respectable adult name."

And so, of course, when we got a derpy dog a few years ago, Alfie was my choice of name.




The resigned way she sang the first line Oh, oh deary me was just how I felt when I used to come home to find he had chewed up something/made Lady's head wet/peed somewhere.

And in general, I think it's such a cute song about frustration/love between siblings. I especially like the bridge:

Oh, little brother please refrain from doing that
I'm trying to help you out, so can you stop being a twat? (so very British!)

And look me in the eyes, take off that stupid fitted cap

Apparently, music critics didn't like the song since they didn't think it was clever enough. Well, what do they know? It's a cute song and I'll like what I like.
