Hair today
So I thought I wasn't going to be busy at work, because, you know, Fourth of July and probably most people that would normally e-mail me would go on break. But nope! 24 e-mails. I guess I'll get to them eventually...
We're in the middle of a heat wave and there's nothing that can be done outdoors during the day. So Saturday was spend watching soccer (exciting, but bummer of an outcome) and playing Assassin's Creed: Liberation (frustrating, but fun in hindsight). Sunday, I went off to get my hair done. I had my hair digitally permed several years ago and it looked fantastic. Ever since then, I've been trying to get that same look. So far, it seems good but I'll have to see how it looks after a few shampoos.
Since I was sitting there for half the day already, I decided to spend the other half dyeing my hair. I got purple and blue. Again, pretty excited to see how it comes out after a few shampoos.
Preteen is from before I'm 13? That will make it 1981-1993. I'll say it's:
Meat Loaf's I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) released in 1993.
There's a music video for the song, but I surprisingly can't find the full-length video on YouTube. It's probably one of Michael Bay's better movies, inspired by Beauty and the Beast.
The song is famous for people not seeming to understand what Meat Loaf won't do for love except it's right there in the lyrics? I don't think I ever though it was an ambiguous song. Apparently there was even an VH1 Storytellers episode where Meat Loaf "explained it on stage using a blackboard and a pointing stick" - Wikipedia.
