What a hangover. Whoo!
I woke up this morning and despite the hangover, I feel so good right now. Last night was the LIFEBEAT concert, something I'd really been looking forward to for quite sometime. The turnout was great, people had come from all over just to see us play. Afterall, it's been so long. We did an acoustic set, which is how our tour is going to be, as well. Just us, acoustic. No backing band or anything. It'll be a 20+ city club tour. But back to the concert. What a rush that was. It felt so good to just get up there and play again, it felt like we'd never been away. Of course, my voice has deepened a considerable amount since our last tour, so we've had to change some harmonies a bit, but I think we still sound just as good as we did three years ago, on the TTA tour.
But honestly, I had almost more fun at the Star 98.7 radio interview. God, that woman was freaky. She was told (and several times, mind you) that I'm 17 but she was all up on my dick. After we sang "Penny & Me", she was just staring at me, and finally Taylor just blurted out that she looked like she wanted to jump on me, or something like that. Wouldn't have phased me much, though, I've had older women before. No big deal. It was quite amusing though, when she announced that she was aroused by the performance, and asked me did I know what a clitoris is! No, lady. I'm 17, I've gotten laid like a million times, but I have no idea what that is. Are you kidding me? That would sure put a damper on my sex life now, wouldn't it? And for some odd reason, they got this feeling that I'm going to end up in rehab some day. Yeah, thanks for the support. I'm not into drugs, and I don't drink nearly enough to consider myself an alcoholic, so I highly doubt that, honestly. Also, apparently, I sleep with whores. I wish someone would've made me aware of this. I swear, radio DJs are funny as hell. At least they seemed to genuinely enjoy our music. That's all that really mattered to any of us, I think. Well, Ike might be pretty annoyed at the fact that they asked if he was gay, but besides that.
On another note, I really need to talk to Dave later. I found out something the other day that is really going to change everything. I worry about his reaction, but honestly, none of us expected this...
