i was going to talk a little about the ustase and how the croatians and bosnians were some of the worst nazis during world war II and why only due to western double standards, the serbs have become the bastard children of europe, while only really being marginally deserving of that label. i'll save that, and my israel/serbia parallels for another day i guess. but it's something to think about.
some other shit.
- there are rumblings going on here that if obama wins in november, israel will act unilaterally and attack iran's nuclear facilities in the interim period between then and the inauguration. imo this is almost the worst case scenario. ALMOST.
- it's kinda funny bc my dad LOVES obama, so much that he's donated more than i think he should to his campaign and even got a chance to meet him last year. i still don't understand how people can actually get excited about politicians. shit is beyond me.
- i wish i could've gone home this summer. it's too damn hot here. but there aren't too many things that i actually miss to the point where it gets to me. if i could live here nine or ten months out of the year and only go back during the summer, i'd be more than content.
- it seems like a foregone conclusion already that lebron will go the nets in '10. which is kinda gay cuz i'm a knicks fan.
- danilo gallinari better not suck.
