AHH, I hate all this snow, its way to freakin cold. It can stop at any time, really.
Last night was pretty fun.. my mom bought tickets off Aaron at work, who's in the band Loko Phylum. Small world.. haha, me and Casey used to go see them like every weekend a couple years ago, cause I was friends with Frank (drummer), whos dad me and my mom both worked with at the country club.. now Aaron, the guitarist works there.
So anyways, their show was last night at the Hard Rock in Station Square. Casey wanted to come too, but she had to go out w/ a friend for their birthday. We seen her down there though when we were walking from the parking garage to the Hard Rock.. I hear somethin like "Look at the diva's" (thats what my mom heard).. and I turn around and there's Casey stickin her head out of a car window.. haha, she's a nut. <3
We got into the place, and found Aaron and Frank.. my mom talked to Aaron for a few minutes.. and they said they weren't goin on till like 11:30.. at that time it was only 10:30.. so me and her went over inside the mall thing to walk around. We stopped into Houlihans to get some cappicino and some dessert.. it was awesome. We had walked through Ref's to get into the mall part, and my mom was all grossed out cause these younger guys were checkin her out.. haha. I never pay attention to them, cause drunk guys are annoying.. so I walk straight through not paying attention to them.. and I hear my mom behind me like "ugh.. gross". I told her it was a good thing they were checkin her out.. they were maybe 28 at the oldest.. which means they obviously thought she was younger. My mom looks good when she dresses up.. she looked hot last night :) I get the same way when OLDER guys check me out.. but that's just creepy. If I was 47, I'd want some 25 year old checkin me out too.. haha.
After wasting some time, we headed back over to the Hard Rock. The place was so crowded.. it sucked. I HATE large crowds, especially ones you can't even move in. We finally found a seat though, and I went to get us some drinks (well, me a Rolling Rock, her a pepsi..haha). The show was awesome though.. those guys have so much energy its ridiculous, especially the singer.. and he's so skinny. I like their new songs a lot though.. I'll probably go see them again and take Casey since she hasn't seen them in a while.
