I believe that a lot of students drop out of school because they get extremely bored. They get bored and find that sitting there is a waste of their time. If they can sit there and be bored than they can go home and find something exciting to do.
If I have to decide what the Florida school system could do, I would find some way that I could educate kids in an amusing manor, keep them busy, but make it fun for them. I am sure there is a way to do it.
I went to Atlantic High School and I know of times where I was sitting there thinking to myself, why in the heck am I sitting here when I could be at home doing something I want to do?
Some kids just have their own way of learning and enjoying things. Every person has their own reason why they drop out of school but I think if there where more teachers to motivate students we would not have this problem.
The thing that creates this terrible record is that everyone is not putting in a little effort if every one helped out a little bit and put in a little effort then everything just might be okay.
