Rules of Conduct
◊ No Bashing. We will not tolerate any bashing of any kind. Not to Yamashita-san; current or former members of NEWS; your moderators or community members.
◊ Be Respectful. No one likes to be insulted. Please be polite and respectful to others.
◊ LJ Cut. Anything longer than a paragraph, or that will break the layout of the community, must be placed under an LJ cut. Also, for fics, the only part allowed outside of an lj-cut is the fic header information. For graphics, only 3 icons and 1 banner are allowed outside a cut. Go here to learn how to make one.
◊ Posting. Use proper grammar when posting. The preferred language for the community is English. If you must post in another language, provide a summary/translation in English so the rest of us can understand your post. Do NOT use netspeak.
◊ Posting, Part 2. All posts must contain something related to Yamashita-san. NEWS posts are only allowed if our beloved Pi-sama is involved. So no posts about 4-nin NEWS or Tegomass. There are other communities for them. (see affiliates)
◊ Tags. Tag all entries. If a tag does not exist, PM a moderator and we will be happy to add it for you.
◊ No Drama. If you have a problem with a member, let a moderator know. Let’s keep our community wank free.
◊ Sales/Advertisements. Please post these only on the provided entries. The entries can be found in the sidebar. If you are selling limited time items, such as preorders for concert goods, you are allowed to make one short post on the main community once per week.
◊ Affiliates. If you would like to be an affiliate, please see THIS post.
MEDIA
◊ Media. Media includes the following: dramas, any official dvd/cds, streaming videos, tv shows, concert clips, etc.
◊ Source. When posting any type of media, please place a link to the source.

◊ Posting. When posting any kind of media, all download links must be contained within the community post. No linking off site. This includes fake LJ cuts.

◊ Source. When posting any type of scans/translations, please place a link to the source.
◊ Permission. Please note in your post that you received permission.
◊ Posting. All kinds of translations and scans can be posted. From magazines, to any kind of articles, as long as they are Yamashita-san related.

A weekly summary post will be made highlighting important events during the past week. All advertisements will be placed in this post. This will include jwebs, news, media, graphics, etc and other information from the fandom, _yamapi and yamapi_kingdom. This post will be up every Sunday.
If any of the above rules are broken, the following penalties will be given:
1st offense: written warning.
2nd offense: suspension for 3 days from the community.
3rd offense: suspension for 14 days from the community.
4th offense: banishment from the community.
Penalties will only be given to those that intentionally break the rules. If you weren’t aware of them, a moderator will direct you to the rules post. You won’t be penalized for the first offense, but if the rules are broken a second time, the above penalties will apply.
