I am updating.
I'll start off with Tuesday because I don't remember what I did Monday :P. On Tuesday, I went to Medieval Times for English class. It was a fun time. In the morning, unbeknownst to me, Matt watched me park (cuz everybody knows how much I love when people do that..) then sat in my car and kept me company until it was time to go into school. It was nice...actually may have made my day. You know, maybe ;). Anyway, once I went into school, I had to go straight to the cafeteria and meet up with my class. After attendence and all that, we boarded the buses. I sat with Renee. I was sad because I was seperated from Buddy, Hague, and Sean. The bus ride was pretty boring. When we got there I was, again, seperated from Buddy, Hague, and Sean in seating arrangements, but it's ok. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I hung out with Renee, Breana, Collin, and Sam. While we waited in the lobby for the doors to open, we got pina coladas and strawberry daquiris which were delectable. After that, it was time to go in. First, Renee and I were supposed to be sitting with a bunch of random people, but then we switched seats so we got to sit by Breana, Sam, and Collin. Still, I would've rather have gotten to sit with Hague & co. cuz we were getting pumped for it for a while, but it was ok. The food and performance were ok, I'm not that into eating like a barbarian. But hey, the red knight was hott. Anyway, it was over by 1:30-2ish and we were on our merry way back to school. The ride back was as boring as the ride there. Both there and back were about an hoour and a half rides. But on the way back, I got to focus on the impending doom of the track meet I would be in as soon as I got back to school. The track meet wasn't that great. We won, but I didn't feel well the entire time and my 400 sucked...as always.
Um..I can't really remember anything significant about Wednesday or Thursday.
On Friday night, the crew went over Devon's. I drove Amac there which was a fun time as usual. Car rides with Amac are golden. I named my car Keegan. Pasquale almost killed Keegan when he first got there doing about 80 down a residential street. Matt, Hague, Buddy, Flynn, Hilary, JB, Pasquale, Amac, Devon and his friend Danielle, and I = the crew for that night. It was a pretty fun time. We watched "American Wedding" which I hadn't seen. Amac and I left semi-early around 10 because I had to be at school the next day at 6am to get the bus for my track meet. On the way out, Buddy hid behind a bush without me knowing and jumped out when I walked out the door causing me to scream bloody murder in the middle of Devon's neighborhood. And then everybody laughed at me. The car ride home was fun. Good conversations with Amac.
Saturday was the track meet. I woke up around 5:30, left my house around 5:40 and got to school at 6am. Once everyone got there and boarded the bus, we went to Manhatten Bagel to get food and then started our journey to the Randolph Relays. We got there around 8:30 and my race was the second to last event so I basically sat around all day in the tent...because the weather SUCKED. Finally the 4x800 came. It was me, Hilary, Ashley, and Tara. We did ok..came in 4th. Hilary and I dropped the baton together..literally. It was in both of our hands and somehow ended up on the ground at the handoff. But it's ok, we didn't get dq-ed..just lost some time. When we were done, Oliver decided to try and make a joke out of it saying, "Nicole, I know you don't like Hilary that much, but you didn't have to throw the baton at her! hahah." But really, I wasn't laughing. Anyway, I got home around 5 from that, went tanning, then took a shower. I felt bad because Matt wanted to do something (even though he said it didn't matter...but I know it did) but I was too tired and I looked like crap so that didn't happen.
Yesterday was PROM! I woke up around 8:30 and started to straighten my hair. Around 10, my mom took my to get a manicure and pedicure. Pedicures are so fun. You get to sit in the huge massage chair while people tend to your nasty feet..hah. I feel bad for those people. Anyway, I got a french on both my nails and toe nails. After that, I came back home for a little and finished straightening my hair. At 1, I had my hair appointment. The lady's usually closed on Sundays, but she opened her shop just for me. My mom somehow had that worked out beforehand. Anyway, the lady did a really good job on my hair. I actually liked my hair for once lol and she was really really nice too. My hair was actually finished around 1:30..quick and painless. After that, we picked up Matt's flower and I went home to start getting ready. First, I did my makeup and then put on my dress and jewlery. Around 3, Danielle and her mom came over to see me. My mom took some pictures of my outside of the house...that was kind of awkward because every now and then when a car would drive by or someone would walk by, they'd stare at me lol. Nina, my next-door neighbor who also happens to be Danielle's Aunt, also came over to see me. Around 3:30, we left for pre-prom and Danielle came with me so she could see everyone, but this wasn't before I made a quick run to the bathroom. Actually, it was pretty slow considering my dress was so puffy and I had a hard time completing the task, shall we say..lol. I had to have Danielle come in and assist me. We love eachother, what can I say? Anyway, we arrived at Amanda's for pre-prom just as Matt and his parents were pulling up. I got pretty nervous, but I had Danielle there talking me through...for whatever reason because I'm still not really sure why I got so nervous, but it quickly went away. Anyway, everyone was there (Hague, Flynn, Kate, Tiffany, Tiffany's Matt, Pasquale, Pasquale's date Lauren, Amanda, Sean, Devon, Devon's date Nicole, and my Matt). There was food and about 3495830495 pictures taken lol. Ridiculous amount of cameras. After we took some pictures on Amanda's deck, we got into the limo and went to take some pictures at a park with a gazebo and such. But not before Danielle and I made another bathroom run. It was pretty funny, Danielle, Matt, and I were standing there talking and then I was just like "Excuse us." and Danielle and I went into the bathroom lmao. I love us. Anyway, during the picture taking at the gazebo, we posed with just Hague. All the girls and Hague. It was quality. After that, it was time to go to prom. The limo ride was fun. My dress dominated. We got there around 6, a half hour early. Matt and I got our seating card and then went to get our picture taken. That was a little awkward when the photographer had to take one of me alone and one of matt alone, but oh well. Anyway, after that, we mingled, took some pictures with people, and then found our table and sat down. Then we ate dinner, danced a little, had amazing chocolate mousse for dessert, and danced a little more. Matt's cute because he actually dances with me...both slow and fast. The limo picked us up around 11 and we were on our way to Matt's. I took my shoes off the second I got into the limo. They were dangerous, stripper heels. Once we got to Matt's, We all changed into our pj's and then watched "Blues Brothers". Tiffany and her Matt left around 2am because Tiff wasn't allowed to stay over. I was up until 3am with Matt and then I went upstairs and commandeered his bed...while everyone else slept on the floor in the family room..hahaha. I woke up around 6am..for some unknown reason, layed there for a while and then fell asleep for about an hour, then woke up again and just layed in bed watching tv. I watched tv for about 3 hours waiting for another sign of life lol but apparently Matt woke up at 8 so I was pretty much up in his room watching tv for no reason. Around 10:30-ish I heard movement. It was Amanda. We walked to the kitchen and talked to Matt and Hague's mom while they made breakfast. Hague's mom came over to help. After that, we finally made our way downstairs where everyone was awake. We were scared to go downstairs at first lol. So we watched "Star Wars" for a little until breakfast was ready. Then, we went upstairs and ate, then came back down to continue watching "Star Wars". When that was over, we just chilled and watched tv. Around 1:30, I went up to Matt's room to get ready for track. Soon after, everyone was leaving. Devon drove me from Matt's to track and from track to my house. It was a really fun time...not the driving, but prom. I enjoyed it. My mom already got some of her pictures developed and if I do say so myself, Matt and I look really good. You know, not to sound conceited or anything...lol. We're just two very cute and photogenic people, what can I say?
Anway, I'm gonna go now because I have to finish doing my hair and then go to sleep...since I've been running on three hours of sleep all day.
