(no subject)
hello stalkers.
i had a very good weekend. it started with the homecoming game on friday night (my xc meet was cancelled, by the way, due to wind? so i drank an entire 32 oz. gatorade for no reason. yay!). we lost 54-0, but the game itself was fun. did a lot of dancing and screaming. jb and flynn heard us cheering for them. we got nods! but manolio was too far away so he didn't hear our cheers for him. anywho, after the game everyone else went over passy's house, but i went home courtesy of matt.
yesterday was the best. i woke up around 10 and hopped right into the shower. around 11, i went over ashley's and she did my hair while we watched the wizard of oz. marie came over as well. we watched some deleted scenes scarecrow style. all i have to say is, thank god they were deleted.
around 12:30, i went home and my mom took me to feet first. my original goal was to find a new purse, but i ended up getting a hat. after that, we picked up marie and went to the xc meet to cheer on varsity. it was fun running around to all ends of ocp screaming at people with no underlying pressure of having to run. i also got to see a lot of people who graduated last year which was nice.
i got home around 4 and hopped in the bath lol. after that, i did everything i needed to do in order to get ready for the homecoming dance. after all that was done, i paced around my house. why? because i was nervous as hell and i broke my lipgloss because of it. i kept twisting the cap on and off and ended up destroying it so now it doesn't close therefore, i have to keep it standing upright otherwise it'll leak it's lip glossiness all over everything which was extremely disappointing because i wanted to take that lip gloss with me, but couldn't because it would've leaked. BUT i'm over it. anyway, matt & fam arrived around 6. it wasn't that bad. hey, i'm alive right? that's all that matters and i got flowers and i love flowers so yeah. rock on. anyway, there was a photosession that lasted a little over 5 minutes and that was it. not too shabby at all, if i do say so myself. matt and i escaped around 6:30. apparently, our parents were together for a good hour after we left. what they talked about, nobody knows.
the dance was fun. i really wanted an nsync or britney song to come on, but it never happened. it's ok though, they still played a bunch of other songs i enjoyed like otown. and i have to say, passy's orangutan dance is the best ever.
after the dance, we headed over to friday's for food. devon met us there. after we were done eating, matt drove me home. we were right next to tara, her mom, and ashley at the light on the jug handle. it was funny and random at the same time. all in all, the night was awesome. when i got home, i sat with my mom and sister in the living room and watched trading spaces for a while because that's how cool i am and of course, my mom needed to do her usual interviewing, asking 5 million questions about my night. around 12:30, i went upstairs and got ready for bed. i took my flowers with me. i wasn't about to leave them downstairs to decorate the living room because they're mine and i want them in my room. it's just a territorial thing. anyway, i ended up laying in my bed doing that staring at the ceiling/thinking type deal for a good two hours. i finally fell asleep around 2ish. yay for insomnia.
today, i woke up exactly at 11 and came online while defeating my homework all at the same time. also took a trip down memory lane via my old livejournal which was funny/embarassing.
around 5, i went to church. my sister saw a lady bug on the floor so i took it as my civil duty to rescue it. so for a good half of mass, i chilled with the lady bug, but left him in the pew when i went to get communion. on the way out, i set him free outside. he was so cute. i didn't get a chance to name him though and i hope he didn't get stepped on.
so 11/23 = ryan cabrera! i'm so excited! i haven't been to a concert since warped tour which was in august and i really like ryan cabrera's music. he, on the other hand, looks like a werewolf, but that's besides the point. i really wanted to go to this show too. i'm going with my girls so it'll be a nice female bonding type deal. i can't wait!
