i must say, despite the all-around hard work, being a girl is actually really fun.
why the hell am i saying this, you ask? because i just spent nearly two hours in my room experimenting with make-up, clothes, hair..etc. all the girl things. all the while listening to hilary duff complete with singing dancing around. i can't lie, i bought her new cd yesterday. i like the songs, ok?
while we're on the topic, i also bought an avril dvd. money well spent, in my eyes at least.
but, back to my original topic. you see, boys don't get to wear pretty clothes, put on make-up, do their hair, and accent themselves with cute accessories....unless, of course, they happen to be metro. which is exactly why it's fun to be a girl.
i haven't done the whole "dress-up" thing in a while, so playing with make-up and everything tonight was really fun for me. i know this entire entry thusfar makes me sound superficial, but i'm really not. i rarely ever do all that girly stuff. i just haven't had the time or energy, but tonight my inner girly-girl was yearning to break free.
..and now you all think i'm crazy. oh well.
in case you haven't already noticed, this entry is completely out of boredom AND, more importantly, to sustain marie's happiness since she yelled at me before for my lack of updated. ergo, this one's for you, babe ;)
well, i can't really remember the last time i updated, but on tuesday we had another dual meet...in the rain. my favorite. everyone's time was slow because it was wet out, but i stayed with ashley the whole time and she normally runs a whole minute ahead of me. i was happy. joe g said i did excellent. i felt really accomplished after that, even though my time was shit.
oh, and i forget which day it was, but flynn made a little frosh cry at lunch..i may have contributed to that also, but i couldn't help it. there was this little frosh who sat down at a table alone with a bottle of soda, but when he opened the bottle, it exploded all over him and everyone started cracking up. flynn, being the bastard that he is, points and screams "omg, that sucks!" all the while laughing to the point of tears. after that, the little frosh gets up and runs away crying. i don't think i was neccessarily laughing at the kid, i think i was mainly laughing at flynn's disreguard for other's feelings. anyhow, it was absolutely hilarious. i did feel bad, but i couldn't help it. it was golden.
today, we had guidance meetings during flex. oh my, was that exciting. i love spending the time put aside for students to hang out with their friends with b.duff. gotta love sister barb. anyway, during the first half of flex which seemed like it lasted all of about point two seconds, i ate lunch with a small portion of my crew. hilary had this nasty fry in her batch of fries. it was hard and brown and just nasty, so manolio and i decided to throw it around. it was hilarious, but i guess you had to be there.
i keep remembering random highlights from my week. like yesterday when marie and i almost got hit by a bus. that was funny as hell because instead of actually driving out of the way to safety, we acted as deer in the headlights completely in shock. good times.
also, since half of our xc team, including joe g, is gone for about 4 days, the rest of us don't have practice but some of us got together today and walked to toms river fitness after school. we ended up running 3miles on the treadmill anyway, so it was like having practice.
anywho, i got home around 5, but no plan's were made which is why i ended up playing dress-up with myself. yay for being cool and having a life!
tomorrow should be better though. no school and at night, i'm meeting up with the crew at fright fest. i can't wait!
well, this was pretty long. i think i'll go. i have to watch some star wars courtesy of matt.
bah bye, now.
