hey kiddo! i'm back from hickville, ny. seriously, it was horrible. i took comfort in the walmart because that was the closet to civilization that i could find.

anyway, the wake was last night. it lasted from 5-8 and since we're immediate family, we had to stay the whole 3 hours. i talked to my cousin tim's girlfriend most of the time. she's awesome. she was like a breath of fresh air for me. my brother and sisters weren't there though. i contained myself pretty good during the wake. i was proud, but during the funeral i started tearing. it was toward the end and i started to think a lot and i could feel myself breaking down, but then i was like "no nicole, we must contain ourselves in front of all these people". i'm sure you all wanted to know my exact thoughts..lol. but, yeah that's pretty much how it went. the funeral was today at 1. it was really nice to have all these different people come up and share the stories they had about my uncle. i learned a lot of things about him that i hadn't known. even tim went up and spoke. he didn't even cry when he was up there. i was so proud of him, he was making everyone laugh and i really admire how composed he was even though it was his father's funeral. my parents made plans with him and jessica (his girlfriend) to come down for dinner sometime since they live in brooklyn which is considerably close. i think that's really awesome because i hardly get to see tim so being able to have him over for dinner sounds fun.

anywhodiddle, we left there around 4 and had the 4 hour car ride ahead of us. it went pretty fast on the way there, but that was prolly because we stopped at a diner for breakfast and then at my other house to check on it and hit the candy store right near it which is amazing. the way home seemed to go a little slower, but when we finally got to good ol' brick, my parents dropped my off at flynn's house because that's where everyone was. everyone being hilary, hague, jb, and manolio. i caught the end of kill bill. very bloody. i also attacked the chicken wings which hague got a picture of. when i say attack, i mean attack. half the plate was gone after i was finished with them. flynn was cracking up. he always cracks up when i go on my barbaric eating rages. he's usually the only one that witnesses them too....weird. anyway, we just hung around for the rest of the night and now i'm here, catching up on my civilzed life. i decided that i could never live in the country side. you all have to experience where i was these past two days to even start to comprehend what i'm talking about. it was rough, but i'm alive so i guess that's good.

toodles!
