And twenty-four hours later....
He came back.
Abbey & I were planning on just the two of us going to the Garage together, and when I got to her house at five something, we were just hanging out before we left, and Scott called her and said that he and Zach were going to the Garage as well. My stomach got all nervous because I just thought the whole thing was going to be weird. And when he first got there, it kind of was. But then Zach got there, and then Jake showed up, so we all hung out together...and Derek was there. I liked him last night. He gets all cute when you say anything about his girlfriend.
So Scott and I hadn't talked that much throughout the night, and then right before Crashing came on, he was standing there with me and Abbey and he was like "I can't do this anymore! I love you." And I didn't know what I was supposed to say, and I didn't want to talk about it there, so we all just kind of stood there for a minute, and then I told him I didn't want to talk about this right now, and thenhe and Abbey left to talk, and I went and watched Crashing play for a little while, and then they came back. Scott looked like he was mad at me, and I thought he was, but I guess not. Then around 10:40 he had to leave and he just gave me this really long hug and then he left.
I was supposed to stay over at Abbey's since my mom is sick, and my dad had to go to church early so I wasn't going to be able to go to church with my parents anyways, but when we got in the car, my mom said she was still really sick, and my dog was sick too, and that she really wanted me to be home tomorrow, so I was like okay. I went home and went to sleep around 11:30, and then at two, Scott called. We talked about him "having a thing" for this girl, and he said he was over it. He said that he "was taking me for granted" and "didn't realize how lucky he was to have a girl like me". I asked him if he was sure this was what he wanted, and he said yes.
We got off at three something, and he called Abbey, and when they got off, she called me and we talked for a while. It's quite interesting when your best friend is your boyfriend's best friend as well. We share. So I was awake until around 4:30, and then went to sleep, and got up at 9:15.
I just got out of the shower, and have nothing to do all day until Soulstice tonight. My dad's at church all day and my mom has been in bed sick for three days.
I knew everything would work out. I just didn't realize it would be twenty-four hours later. Maybe if I had known that I wouldn't have cried as much.
It's our five month today.
