i think it's about time i made an update, as i have not updated since early september.
weird thing is, i still check read my friends list like twice a day.

all is well in my neck-of-the-woods. actually, things couldn't be looking better for me.

i am still working at outback. i'm a trainer now, and i'm about to start working back-of-house.
maybe two or three days a week as a prep cook, and then maybe a day or two as a line cook.
we'll see how it goes.

i'm about to get my tax return. it's like 800 buck. i think i'm going to get me a zune mp3 player,
and then use the rest as a credit card payment.

i joined gold's gym last week. i go in on wednesday to get with a trainer and get me a program
going. i'm determined to have an entirely new body by summer. gonna start eating right, get my
mad exercise on, and run my ass off. six-pack here i come. i think it's an excellent goal. no
more slacking off.

as for school, i was looking into going to austin to go to culinary school, but since the only two
schools there aren't very appealing, and i can only get my associates degree, it seemed kind
of pointless to go there. so, i started looking elsewhere. i heard many-a good thing about the
culinary institute of america in hyde park, new york. i researched it, and it's by far the best
school in the country, and one of the best in the world. my mom said she would put me through,
so i would be stupid not to go. i would go for almost four years, and get my bachelors degree.
after that, i could pretty much have a chef job in any kitchen i wanted. even make a name for
myself and get my own restaurant, maybe even have my own cooking show, and with that, my
own catch phrase. who knows? my mom, teresa, and i are going up there over spring break to
look at the school and possibly housing. we're even going to spend a day in the city, as it's about
100 miles south of hyde park.

i'm pretty excited about going, and scared shit-less at the same time. teresa will move with me,
so that helps having someone there with me. i planned on moving there this summer, but
classes wouldn't start until october, so i'm not sure when we'll move, or even if we're going to
move for that matter. i would love to go, but it's still not 100% yet, as we still have to look at the
school, and make sure we can afford the $900 rent we would be paying for a one-bedroom
apartment. it won't be easy, but if i graduated with a bachelors from that school... i could
possibly be making 50 large right out. so that's a plus.

i guess that's really all i have. see you guys in four more months.

deuces,
