I've figured out why I like most of the musicians I like! Usually, the singer uses their voice like an instrument - as in, they do lots of different things with it, it's not just the same old singing. I think this is the only thing that makes my taste in music match up: The Cocteau Twins, Regina Spektor, The Cure, Cradle of Filth... the singers can all do amazing things with their voices that goes beyond typical singing. Ok, so I use the term 'singing' loosely when it comes to Dani Filth, that's not quite singing. But it can still be pretty damn melodic. >.> <.< >.> He used to be so hot back in the day v.v
