Oh the drama
So Colin was flown back from Moomba yesterday afternoon. Apparently he was suffering from heat exhaustion and dehydration - he had gotten severe muscle cramps when working on Wed morning. Basically, he just wasn't drinking enough water in the heat out there.
So he went to the doctor and then came back to Brissie for the night. Saw him. Generally made a fuss over him. He felt much better and refreshed after a night's sleep, thank goodness.
Then this afternoon we went back to 'Woombie town to go work at the depot and has to go to the doctor again on Wednesday, at which point if he's declared fit he can fly back out to the rig. Only my boyfriend!
Apart from the dehydration thing, though, he apparently loves it out there! Which is good news for him keeping the job and staying interested in it.
Let's see, what else has been going on? Oh yes, did I mentioned nawl_v and I saw Stardust last week? SO GOOD. LOVE. LOVE. <3 Also bought Fall Out Boy's album off iTunes. Took about 10hrs to download on dialup. *kicks dialup*
