Get funky tonight
Am a bit frazzled about work (I know, so what else is new, right?)
They expect me to do so much more than the role I am supposed to be doing, it's hateful.
To bring you up to speed, I'm no longer a team manager. Not sure when I last posted about work, but hey anyways. Long story short, my team was 'merged' with another team that does similar work. It already had a long-serving team leader so I got unceremoniously demoted. Don't get me wrong, I was pretty stressed out by this stage (beginning of July) so I welcomed the change to drone work, but it was still a little humiliating. And now everyone KNOWS I can do more and know more stuff about our work so they keep hitting me up for favours and help. Arg! The price of being a know-it-all!
Anyone else out there with a Facebook I can add? I'm totally and unashamedly addicted to the bloody thing... O_o
