New Watcher's Council

It has been 4 months since she died and we all moved on and not a day has passed where I haven’t thought about her. She was nearly my wife and sometimes I wonder if we, no I can’t think about that.

I have a new live in Los Angeles, my own construction company a whopping big contract to build the new Watcher’s Council for the G Man and Will. I don’t fight as much as I use to with so many slayers around I don’t have to. The biggest fight I had this week was against a major crueler craving. Apparently they aren’t so good for my waistline.

The eye or lack of an eye, I am pretty much use to it now. I wish Will could just use the mojo to grow me a new one but even then I think I am in a good empty eye space with it. Though my eye socket does get itchy and I curse the tv for not having anti eye socket itch cream commercials.

“Grrr Arg, I’m Red Beard the manly pirate and when my socket itches I sock it with a good doze of preparation I for the nastiest of eye socket itchies! Grrrrr!”

The work on the Council has gone well, the building is functional even though there is a lot of work still to do. My boys mostly work around Giles and his new watchers. Dawn and Andrew are actually being trained to be watchers. I sort of pictured Andrew being more of a uber needs supervision type but the Willster seems okay with him and no one really questions her judgment.

This new Watcher set-up even has lawyers on staff and it turns out one of them is one of Buffy’s exes before she developed a thing for dead boys. I think his name is Pike or some other sort of sushi sounding name. Speaking of exes, I thought I saw Cordelia though I may have been inhaling paint fumes as Captain peroxide was with her and he well is very dead, a pile of dust underneath a bigger pile of dust that use to be Sunnydale.
