I just got back from Bon Jovi.
I think that I can safely say, it was, by far, the best concert I've ever been to. Ever.
Kayla and I went with our moms. I think everybody was there was a mother, or with their mothers.
We went to Toronto early, and went out to Jack Astor's for dinner. There were many middle-aged women singing Bon Jovi, and sipping martinis. I thought of Jason.
The opening band was a local Toronto band who got the gig by winning a contest with Q107. They were pretty good. The bassit's girlfriend was sitting in front of us. She was really nice.
There were also three middle-aged bff's sitting in front of us. They were drunk as skunks, and provided almost as much entertainment as Jon himself.
At one point, Jon Bon Jovi was standing at the end of our row of seat. We were easily within fifteen to twenty feet of him. I must admit, for a forty-three year old man, he's goooood lookin'. The drunk ladies got rowdy and started climbing over-top of seats. The one hugged me and said she needed my help standing up, because, "It was for a good cause, man."
I came out of the whole experience with a poster, a keychain, and free mints!
What an excellent Christmas present.
Chrissy and Amy left me two message on my answering machine while I was gone saying that we'll be signing a lease tomorrow for our new house! I'm inexplicably excited, and relieved. Housing dilemmas cause so much stress.
Things are comin' up roses.
Wow. I can't get over that concert. I think I got some decent pictures. Stay tuned to MSN Space.
I think I might do some Psychology readings before I go to bed. I'm learning about the brain. Mmm! Braaains!
P.S. I love Adrienne Paulsen.
Ciao for now!
