i had a happy halloween. i basically just went to work &passed out candy to the general public. it was a blast cuz everybody dressed up. my brother was the grim, my sister was a pirate, rena was a sexy vampire bitch, her son was mickey mouse, andrew dressed up as jLo (oolala), janice was a blonde french maid, her son was freddy cruger &her daughter was a pink fairy, cil was a cop, dairen was..in black leather (uber sexy), &oki was cleopatra. nami was suppose to come in her "nurse" costume, but she forgot it. but she dressed up her son as a nija turtle. i was tinkerbelle's "more mature" cousin. lol okay, i was just a slutty fairy but i was really going for tinkerbelle..i just couldnt find a nice green dress or pretty white wings...so i settled for red &black.
this halloween i spent a total of: $62
$15 for black spider web wings
$12 for dress alteration
$0 to borrow shoes from twist
$30 for an updo + $5 tip
which isnt bad compared to last year's over $120 to be my jack's sally :)
i LOVE halloween. its just simply my favorite holiday. you get to dress up to your hearts desire &unlike christmas where you usually give only to those close to you, on halloween, you give to even the greatest strangers... you'd think you'd get tired handing out candy at the mall (since theres always A LOT of people there) but i didnt. in fact, i couldnt stop smiling and repeating "Happy Halloween!", & "Oh! Thats so cute!" lol its just amazing to see so many creative costumes..especially on little ones. they're just adorable!
lots of people wanted to take pictures of the workers at hair town. i guess our costumes were the most outrageous. we REALLY stood out. people were telling the security guards to come check us out &alot of the trick or treaters parents wanted their kids to take pictures with us..one guy even singled me out and asked to take a pic with only me (wow, i felt cool). he looked at me, all smitten, and told me his name was mark. there first thing that came to my head was, my boyfriend's first name is marc. lol
it was a fun. night. if i ruled the world, i would declare that we have one day out of every month be halloween. its just a serious must.
well. i should go. my knight in shining armor fell asleep on the floor waiting for me. poor thing..let me go give him some sugar! lol
