Hooo....we'll see how this goes...
I'm 30. yep 30..and trying to put a band together. I was in one in the mid 90's and after a hiatus which has included marriage and children I'm trying to do this again. Why you may ask? because I need to..plain and simple.
With the added convenience of the net I can search hundreds and hundreds of ads for other people to play with. Problem is, that most of them are young and want to play pop-punk, emo or nu-metal..Not that there is anything wrong with those genres, just not for me. Anyways, I'm a late 80's-early 90's college radio fed guy. Give me a steady diet of Early REM, pixies, Pearl Jam, The The, Juliana Hatfield and I'm happy. More than happy..so anyways, my first entry..nothing to write home about....
