Did anyone else catch Wilco on ACL this weekend? If it wasn't Tweedy's incredible music wanting me to just stop playing, it was their new guitarist for the tour, Nels Cline. Cline was just absolutely incredible! I don't think I've ever heard a Fender Jazzmaster sound the way he made it! Tortured and sweet at the same time..just incredible... damn. I may have a new favorite guitar player to add to the list.
The songs we haunting as a lot fo Wilco's songs the last 2 albums have been. I really enjoy the new Wilco. As much as I like the older alt.country rockin' tunes..the term I used above,"tortured and sweet" come to mind.. and I love that sound..
