-Chapter 2-
Die and Toshiya simply enjoyed being around their fans. Even though the vast majority were teenage girls, but they were always fun to be around. They were supposed to do a regular meet & greet, with the two of them sitting behind a desk and signing posters or CD's and then shaking hands with the fans, but this time Toshiya decided to defy the management and the security, and simply hopped on the other side of the long table, spreading his arms wide open for the fans and giving them a big smile showing his crooked teeth. Die grinned and decided to join his friend on the other side of the table. He put an arm around Toshiya's shoulder and gave the fans his million-dollar smile and motioned for them to join them.
The girls simply went crazy when Die did that, and they ran towards the two, surrounding them from all sides and squealing happily as they asked for autographs and permission to take pictures with their favorite stars.
Kyo watched the two from a secluded corner. He wasn't supposed to show up at any kind of meet & greets. He was supposed to be antisocial. Stupid band image. he thought as he sighed, looking at his friends longingly. If only he could join them as well.
Although, there was another reason, a more important one for him wanting to be with Die and Toshiya. And it wasn't because he desperately wanted to meet the fans. It was more because standing next to Toshiya was the only way to make him stop flirting with anyone who smiled at him. And seeing as he wasn't there, Toshiya simply enjoyed flirting with the fans, hugging them and posing with them for pictures, and even kissing a few girls on the cheeks!
Witnessing that was simply hell for Kyo. And even though he wanted to, but he couldn't just put on a fake smile and go to join his friend and boyfriend.
But.. there was one thing he could do to make Toshiya stop the flirting. Taking out his mobile phone, he pressed the speed-dial number that was meant for his boyfriend's number and put the device on his ear, waiting for Toshiya to pick up while he watched him from where he was standing.
"Hold on girls! My phone is ringing! I need to answer that!" The bassist announced as he took his phone out of his pocket, and without looking at the screen he already knew who was calling because of the personalized ringtone he had for him. "Kyo-kun! What a nice surprise!" he said in a loud voice so everyone around would hear who he was talking with. "Want me to put you on loud speaker so you'd say hi to your fans?"
"Shut up and listen." Kyo growled, cursing himself already for making the phone call. "Even though I'm not standing next to you, but I'm watching your every move."
Kyo's comment felt like a saber going through Toshiya's body. His boyfriend was upset, and he had a good idea why. But even so, he kept on smiling as if Kyo had called to tell him something cheerful.
"Keep the flirting to minimum." Kyo said and hung up, putting the phone back in his pocket and continued watching from afar a bit more before he went to the dressing room where Kaoru and Shinya were.
"Okay, Kyo-kun! I'll tell them you said hi!" Toshiya said, even though Kyo had hung up already. He realized that he had gone a bit too far once again with his flirtatious behavior, but he didn't let it show on his face. "Kyo-kun says hi to all of you! He wished he could join us, but he's feeling a bit tired after the performance we had earlier. He wanted me to tell you guys that you were awesome!" That made-up-on-the-spot comment was greeted with a great cheer from the fans, and Toshiya kept on signing autographs and posing for pictures as if nothing had happened. Although, something inside of him slightly changed. Something that he didn't know he could ever feel, but nonetheless it had finally made itself known.
Die knew that his friend was in some sort of a trouble. Kyo would never ask any of them to deliver a message to the fans. The only messages the fans would get from him were through the fan-club magazine. And whenever Toshiya played messenger like he did a moment ago, it meant that Kyo had scolded him.
The only reason Die knew that was because about a year ago he was in the very same position as Toshiya: getting scolded by Kaoru over the phone for being too flirty with the fans, or for hugging a fan a bit longer than expected. Those were just a couple of things that got him into troubles in his relationship with Kaoru. But one day they simply stopped arguing about those kinds of things. At first Die had thought that Kaoru was simply trying to ignore him, in attempt to break up with him. But after some time he got his answer from Kaoru. "I feel proud when I see how many guys and girls would throw themselves at you, and you don't react to them and simply remain polite and friendly. Because I know you only have eyes for me, and would never consider looking at anyone else in the same way you look at me. That is one of the many reasons why I love you, Die." Kaoru's words kept playing in his head over and over every time he was around their fans. And every time it felt as if Kaoru had told him that just a couple of minutes ago, and that he would reply with a "I love you too, Kaoru." Thinking about his boyfriend filled him with enormous amounts of joy, which made him smile happily. And even though the fans thought that he was smiling at them, but only Die knew that he was smiling for and because of his boyfriend.
