Well, that was possibly the worst shift of my entire time with this company. I've never encountered such a vile, arrogant and downright rude group of people. If I'd known that I was to be working at a hunt ball I'd never have agreed to take the shift. I actually feel morally violated, but at least my suspicions of the character of the majority of foxhunters were confirmed.
I'm actually really angry at the way some of them behaved - verbally abusing female staff members, treating the venue (a Grade I listed building) with utter contempt, etc.
I must stress I'm not tarring every attendee with the same brush, as some of them were very nice and polite, but they were few and far between. Hopefully, the guests tomorrow will be decent people and not make me want to chase them down while riding on the back of a triceratops, goading a pack of slavering velociraptors...
