"Vagina Motherfuckers"
Tonight is my second acting class. We had a homework assignment to pick a monologue from monologuearchive.com and prepare, so that we could perform it in front of the entire class tonight. Well, I really wasn’t too impressed with the monologues from there so I have taken one called “The Flood” from The Vagina Monologues. I’ll be playing a Jewish woman between the ages of 65 and 75 from Queens. And of course I’ll be talking about my (her) vaginal experiences. I performed it in front of my mom, and she was cracking up. But even though it’s meant to be funny at times, I do hope people’s laughter won’t make me too tempted to laugh. I hope I can pull this off well. We will see how it goes. Don’t wish me luck, because apparently that’s bad luck! Oh I really hope I do well!!
