Wow it's the start of the week and this is the first thing on my list of things-to-do. I went to the theater and bought a ticket to sit through "Anchorman" to support one of my good friends. Go see it, it's funny. And I get my arms severed in it.Owen, I want to go bowling. Jack Black... if you're free at all this week you should come too

While every single rule is important here at AC, there are some rules that we need to focus on due to some more general issues that have come up.
Regarding [1.] Relationships, Maturity & Drama
Basically meaning that your characters probably won't already have a girlfriend/boyfriend after a few hours of talking to them. They probably also won't get engaged or married in less than few months time of knowing each other. Yes, it has happened, but it doesn't happen that often. For every 55-hour Britney Spears marriages, there are a dozen Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt courtships.
[2.] Multiple Characters: Each writer is allowed two characters from two different fandoms with-in the game. What this means, you cannot play members of the same band or movie/tv cast.
You must also play your first character for four(4) months and establish yourself as an active writer with active storylines before you can take on a "second role." This rule also applies if you chronically take on second characters and quit them immediately due to your own dis-interest in working on creating storylines with other members or with your character using your own writing skills. We encourage real role playing and real character relationships here. This game is about writing, not about the "astersex".
Please note that you have to have your character for at least four months before signing on a new character. This helps build your character and create strong friendships and very fun, active storylines. If you want your character to talk to many people on AIM and get a lot of journal comments, it's essential you stay dedicated to your character.
[3.] TABU STORYLINES: These are the storylines that are not acceptable in the community, unless handled by a mature and talented writing team.
The No-No's: Suicides, Incest/Twincest/Cousincest, Rapes, Major Car Accidents, Beatings, Pregnancies, & Drug/Alcohol overdoses(OD'ing), Manic depression/Emo-overkill.
Death of any kind is included in this post. Unless a death has occured to someone in a celebrity's life in real life, please DO NOT bring death into a storyline. If someone in your life has passed away, please do not bring it into the game. Also, making up a death is a sign of bad karma. We would never wish death upon anyone and we would hate for it to come back into your life.
If you do decide that you want to have your character involved in the tabu storylines and believe you can make it believable, please contact the moderators first. That way, we can eliminate confusion and having to take mod action.
Regarding [7.] Icons: We have many, many talented icon makers here at AC. There is no reason why your icons should look less than great. http://www.livejournal.com/community/ac_icons_layout/97907.html is the list of who can make icons for you in AC.
Please remember that activity is essential in After Celebrity. Being inactive on AIM will cause your character's screen name to be deleted from the AIM list since the limit is 200 and we have to keep the most active RPers on the list.
Being inactive in your journal will lead to your character being removed from After Celebrity. Please stay active, don't make your character be called out to update.
And always, just as a common courtesy, CUT TAG. If you don't know how, ask anyone or look it up in the FAQ.
