Toni is back in Los Angeles. Sigh. I was just getting used to the other side of the bed not being empty anymore. Well, actually. It's not empty. It just doesn't have her in it.
We went shopping before she left. She said she had a surprise for me. Lo and behold, we go to a pet store, and I find out what my surprise is. She bought me a little friend, a new puppy to keep me company, since the girls spend most of their time with their mom, and she and I are both so busy with our careers. She said she didn't want me being alone. Because she might worry about me.
I'm a big boy, says I. No need to worry. But there you have it. Someone who cares for you, they're gonna worry one way or the other.
The puppy's getting along well with the other dogs. Little guy needs a name, though. I'm open to suggestions.
