Since they are my newest obsession and my secondary angsty otp as of recently. Also haven't seen one of these done for a while
it's interspersed with what is basically my head!canon and stuff, so yeah I apologize for that in advance cause I was feeling particuarly gushy, haha.

OLD SCHOOL
I'm aware the last one is him pushing zayn's hand away (couldn't find the gif) I just like this period in general, becausE i think they personally seem closer/more comfortable with one another now, but there's alot of push and pull there. it's like they didn't quite know how to react to each other at this stage in time. they seem all unsure and just aw <3
the one that's below this from this same video diary, is probably seen as more shippy than the two above. but idk the fact zayn is blatantly ignoring him says alot. also harry wanting his attention and not getting it. especially in lieu of zayn trying to get harry's and pushing his hand away.

sigh. they seem more comfortable and accepting of each other. but even here zayn is a bit tenative, his hand only loosely drapped round harry, who seems happy/surprised with the attention from zayn.

*Harry turns away from him, Zayn looks dejected.* He just wants to play :(
Actually, rewind a bit backwards to: 6:00 where Zayn just waits patiently with the lipstick in hand as his eyes flick over harry, leaned into him. It's a nice excuse to touch Harry without revealing his ~true feelings which zayn is in denial of y'know.
8:00-
Harry- "I feel so much prettier."
Zayn - "You do look much prettier...It makes yours eyes kind of pop a little bit, as well"
Aw and he sounds so sincere about it, even though Harry's original statement is quite jokey, Zayn seems very keen to say to him: 'but, no, really, you look pretty'. I'm sure he always thinks Harry's pretty but it just seems more acceptable to say it when make up is involved.

I'm making this sound one sided, it's not. there just seems to be alot of push and pull between them, i don't think Harry always knows how to react to Zayn either, cause he isn't used to him being touchy feely with him. But, anyway.

Which I'm pretty sure is meant to be a subtle dig/joke about Harry being posh, since Louis follows up after about Horse Riding. But the cute bit is Harry doesn't get it so Zayn instantly drops it. Although he's secretly disappointed cause he wanted to rile up Harry and provoke some sort of response. But he doesn't want to just insult/wind up Harry without his knowledge, where is the fun in that anyway.

so we're clear, this picture was shown:
here is what ensued
defensive much. it's zayn's insistent denial that makes this so shippy, not matter whether goosing or not goosing actually happened. and the way he sort of hits/pats his head as a sort of reminder, like 'dont say stuff like that in public otherwise people might think i'm gay or that i want to have sex with you or knpw somehow that we do have sex'. He goes all flushed too, but Harry just looks a little smug or cocky or maybe just amused, maybe he said it on purpose...oooo.

Meanwhile, Harry seemed to be a bit embarrassed by all the praise being lavished onto him by Zayn, and tried to move the attention away from that by ruffling Liam's hair.

Liam talks about how you've all got to learn to get along with people, and respect their boundaries. When he says about not arguing with people, Zayn takes a moment to quite specifically look at Harry. I'm just saying, remember that twitcam where they argued ages ago and Zayn called harry a moody prick, yes? Well I've just got the feeling in the past, and this is my specific head canon too, they've not always got along or been as close as the other boys. like i said earlier, like they didn't always get each other. So that's what I think Zayn could be thinking about. but hey LOOK HOW FAR THEY'VE COME *wipes tear away*
