Today is my year anniversary of joining Weight Watchers. I've made it a WHOLE year and changed my lifestyle, BIG TIME. I'm the healthiest I have ever been. I'm down to small doses (the smallest doses you can take) of a beta blocker and a diuretic for my blood pressure, down from 4 MAX doses of drugs. I will probably go off of both of these meds when I see my cardiologist this month, since I'm having some major orthostatic hypotension. I am working out 6 days a week and I'm SUPER active. I'm wearing a size 12 pants, a large to XL top (depending on the cut) and large scrubs, about to drop to medium! I weight train 3 days a week, Zumba 3 days a week, run, work out on the AMT crosstrainer, and will be taking my first spin class in the morning after work.
I'm SO glad that I have changed my health and my outlook on life. I feel like my life has just begun!
I still have 40 lbs left to lose, more body work and brain work to do, but I'm still hitting hard!
(PS. My name is Liz and I live near New Orleans, LA. I'm 34, a registered nurse working in an intensive care unit. I am 6'0" tall, and my starting weight was 346.2 on April 6, 2011. As of today, I weigh 212.8, which means I have lost 133.4 lbs in a year! Whoop whoop!)
