Okay, I’m definitely not one to go out on the town in search of the big evils for which to pummel, but having this…THING in front of us, which was obviously NOT human, and it not attacking--and us not attacking… There is too much non-attacking going on here! See, this is why I don’t patrol often

Had to agree with her on the bible studies though. Never did care about that. But I did go to the demonology classes...none of which would come in useful right now. I only went cause Nikki wanted all my notes. How is it possible that she didn't go to any classes, used the same notes and scored higher on the test then I did. Now is not the time to think about test scores though...actually there is never a good time to think about test scores.
Well..Nikki wanted to fight. Looks like that would happen. I noticed Nikki getting an expression from Alan which meant she wasn't paying attention to what was infront of her. I pulled on her sleeve.
Nikki have been cut off from her sentence as an arrow zipped past us. Great..who pissed it off. My guess Leon. But it wasn't it had been Alan...or then again. I turned and looked at Abby who had a bow..funny I didn't think she took a bow. I think it worked for her..guess she isn't one for waiting either.
I turned and looked at Lilith as she screeched and I had to cover my ears. Well talk about getting our attention. Well she sure as hell had mine. But before I could gather what was all happening there was a blur and I was pushed to the side. At first I thought the demon had actually nicked me...turned out Nikki just off and shoved me out of the way. I could have moved out of the way on my own. But this way I knew Lilith wouldn't have taken me out while going after Abby.
When I got up I looked in Abby's direction and she was being held up against a tree. Thats when I saw Alan take charge and head to her rescue....only not so much. I grabbed the bow on the ground and took a swing at Lilith and hit her in the back of the head...which I don't even think she realized I had done. Or did but it obviously didn't hurt her any.
I couldn't just let her toss my watcher like a rag doll. After all the slayer is suppose to have her watchers back. Maybe I shouldn't have hit her...I could have tried loading it again but I figured slayer strength and something hard could be just effective. This wasn't like any demon we had been up against. She had power.

I started running over to help.
"I preferred the less stronger looking one"
Connor was right behind me and as I got over to them, Lilith used a free arm to knock me backwards before I even got a hit in and I collided with Connor in mid-air and we both hit the dirt...hard.
"Yowch...that's gunna smart tomorrow"
"Yeah...thanks a lot Leon"
"Oh, I'm sorry, I'll change my flight pattern next time I'm knocked off my feet"
We got up again and ran once more to help out...christ she'd knocked us a fair distance and a half.

People had been crying, rushing about, dying, becoming gods, it was all hectic and I had no clue what to do so I wandered aimlessly.
What more could I do at Wolfram and Hart? I was no good at taking on a god.
That's when it hit me...or...rather, smacked me across the back of the head REALLY hard to be precise. I rubbed the spot and looked down at a tree branch.
"Where in the name of hecate did THAT come from?"
People dropped branches out of planes now?
Then I got a tingle, or a sense of something and walked beside the wall of the graveyard until I could get inside. I followed the dirtpath and a little ways in I caught sight of people fighting a...well...a something. Oddly and quite coincidentally one of those people was Leon which meant that this couldn't be good.
I moved closer and tried to figure out what was going on.

I tossed the girls small frame aside like she was nothing, well, she WAS nothing to me. She crashed into a headstone, which shattered upon impact, and she drew short shallow breathes as she lied there in a daze. She'd live, fortunately...unfortunately--however you want to look at it. Her neck might be sore for a while, but I say she got off easy. I'm the one with a hole in my shoulder here while she gets off with a bruised neck and ego.
Rolling my shoulders over in their sockets I tilted my head and regained the form I had been in before the stray arrow was fired. Turning around I noticed the two males were on the attack again. Rolling my eyes I jumped up and landed effortlessly in a crouched position atop a pretty large sculpture of some strange gargoyle of a creature.
"Please tell me none of you have been doing this for very long. I've seen rioting mobs who were more organized and had better training."
Smirking some i could feel a new presence close by. Well, not entirely new, just new on the scene.
"You enjoying the show thus far, Mr. Turner?"
