The Good, then Bad, and the Alright.

Trip to Maryland was even better then the last. Good, good times. Highlights included going to Washington D.C. at 10:30 at night to see the Roosevelt Memorial. As expected, I messed up even the best-written directions and got us lost for 45 minutes. We finally found the memorial and walked around the waterfalls and the mist in 4 degree weather. It was really really nice to see it, as we were told beforehand, but the cold made it difficult to enjoy the experience.

[Random Story: There is a supermarket chain called "Giant" in the Maryland area. They carry the Zazz Seltzer that I enjoy up here from Stop & Shop. The funny thing is, where I am used to seeing a S&S logo on the packaging, there is a big red thing that says Giant. Weird]

I decided that I did not feel like driving on Sunday, so I stayed an extra day. When I finally got in my car to leave Monday morning, my cell phone was there in my car with a dead battery. No matter. I went to charge it up and found that my car charger was not lighting up. I tested the stock lighter mechanism, that still worked fine. I diagnosed my charger as dead. I later that night learned that my phone is entirely broken. The battery is fine, but the phone itself will not power on. All the lights and screens shine blue, but nothing else happens. Crap.

Traffic on the way back sucked. A lot. I should have been home in about 5 hours, since I left in non-rush hour traffics. Instead, it took almost seven due to car accidents and stupid people driving in snow flurries.
