Party: Balls everywhere

Nov 09, 2003 18:37

Last night's party began around 9 as people came in slowly. My video camera was finally cleaned and demagnetized, so I was able to capture a good amount of action [if I ever feel inspired, I might post some clips].

Memorable Events:
-Krod acting masochistic and asking people to attack him with "My Whack-N-Stick."
-Brick getting attacked by local ruffians on the walk here, yet not caring, thus depriving them of a fight.
-Chris B. daring people to "take a big gulp of Linux."
-Matt not kicking Chris's ass when Chris became uncharacteristically belligerent
-Rob Jr's friend who "does not drink" magically emptying a bottle of Guinness into her mouth. [Ah, corrupted youth]

But the biggest highlight was A BAG of bouncy balls being unleashed into our house at 1 AM. Yes. Dave bought a bag of them on EBay, and saved it up for the party. Pure chaos erupted for about 20 minutes. Instantly, a light bulb blew, cups fell over, people fell over, and cameras came out of pockets. [This morning, while cleaning, I found them under the couch, under the stove, under the refrigerator, in the sink, in the bathroom, in the closet, in the kitchen drawer, in my shower, under my desk, behind my TV, in the couch, in cups, behind my guitar amp, on top of the 7' shelf, and in my pocket.] I can really only describe it like this: When you buy a fun ball, you have fun bouncing it. Now, multiply that fun by a bag of 100. People have so much fun that in an instant, they uncontrollably become five-years old again.

I was a little disappointed by the number of people invited who did not show. The party could have been double this size. We still have alcohol left over.

Well, as usual, here's my picture recap of the event:

I started the night with a delicious pretzel sandwich.

So many people called me out on this saying it was pathetic and shitty.
They were so completely wrong.

As always, Los Banditos had to play some Beirut.

But, we lost this time.

I am a month and a half out of practice.

So, now that I am poor and tired, where's the party next weekend?

[EDIT: Dave has titled that last picture "Lost Banditos" which I find amazing.]

alcohol, pictures, dave, party, beer pong, banditos
