I have just signed up for a 2-day motorcycle course in July. When it's over (July 11), assuming that I pass, I will have an official NY State motorcycle license.
Phase 2 of this plan involves buying Dave's 1984 Honda Shadow VT700C. The insurance would run me about $170/year, which is pretty awesome compared to what I used to pay for my '87 Jeep. The general goal is just to have some vehicle upstate so that I can get around without bumming rides like I'm back in elementary school.
