Tired and smelly

Whew! I just got back from seeing the Bouncing Souls and The Casualties rock hard. They were preceded by Worthless Union and Vision. I had downloaded some Worthless Union at work, and knew that they were pretty good. Vision, however, I could not track down. They played a very cool, hard set, and when they played their last song, I knew it somehow. Cool. It surprised me that I didn't see any Dover people there (besides Dave). ::sigh:: All these little 15-year old kids in Dover think they invented punk rock, yet when the fricking Casualties come to town, they are too busy listening to the Dead Kennedys to even know it. I am so sick of going to a show and not being able to rock out because there's a swarm of little girls at elbow level. It makes me wish I was inconsiderate; then I would just have to knock them down once, and they'd flee in terror, leaving more space for me.
Also: I hate smoke. Smoke from a fire, cigarette smoke, pipes, cigars, illegal substances: I hate them all. I can think of three things that smell worse than smoke, and one of them is ass (and that's only marginally worse than smoke). Now I have to take another shower today to cleanse myself of other people's filthy smoke. Thanks a lot John Rolfe. <--history lesson for the day if you've never heard of him.

smoke, angst, shows
