Deadwood and books prevent sleep.

I'm about halfway through Deadwood Season 2, and I'd have to say that I am slightly disappointed. It seems he's going to be back in full-swing next episode, but having Swearengen sick in bed for nearly three episodes made the show shitty.

In other entertainment related news, I started reading the Song of Ice and Fire series. I'm a bit past 25% of the first book, A Game of Thrones, and it's captivating so far. I've heard nothing but good things about book 3, so I am anxious to get caught up to that point. The downside, is that between painting (which is now thankfully finished), Deadwood, and reading, I have still not finished shopping for a mattress.

As a result of all of these things, my routine has been: * Wake up, get pissed off about being awake, then go to work. From there I go to my parents' house and pack some more of my stuff into my car. Drive to new house, unpack belongings, watch Deadwood for a few hours (assuming nothing new/good on TiVo). Around 10/11PM, drive back to parents house, shower, read Book until tired. Sleep in bed. D.C. al Fine.

It's not too bad, but will soon change more when I buy a bed and run out of things that need moving between houses.

P.S. - Mattress prices are complete bullshit. I'm shopping for a Full-Size, and the least comfortable ones I have found are still $450. I might just shell out for a really nice one on a payment plan. A lot of places nearby seem to have "No Payments Until December" kinds of deals.
