Every inch of me is bruised
Took a day trip yesterday.
What an eventful day.
Tristan and I woke up around 8
Got coffee and muffins at Dunkin Donuts
And headed to the bank so I could deposit a check.
While I was waiting for my receipt
We heard this huge CRASH
...
Right in front of us some lady had pulled out too soon and this guy just smashed right into her.
It was so funny
No one was hurt, but everyone stopped and looked
And the cops came and everyone was yelling.
After that I had a feeling it would be a good day.
So after we leave the bank, we just get on 95 South and start driving.
We hit Connecticut and kept going
About 2 hours later we hit New York
That's right.
New York.
We decided that maybe we should turn around
So I took the next exit,
And we ended up in the fucking Bronx
We were driving UNDERNEATH a train
And in order to change lanes you had to weave in and out of the columns holding the railway up.
It was so scary!
There were so many scary black guys...
lol I was nervous.
So after about 15 minutes we found our way out and started heading back north.
We stopped at a Friendly's for lunch
And our waiter was so gay lol
He was nice though
And the food was pretty decent.
Then we drove some more, looking for a beach and stopping for gas.
We couldn't find a beach though, so we started going back north.
We took the exit for the West Haven beaches
And walked down the beach for a good hour
Then stopped and sat on some rocks for a while
On the way back to the car
Tristan was digging in the mud for clams lol
He got all dirty.
I had a good time though.
We got lost on the way home though
So by the time we got back it was like, 7pm ish.
So we headed out to the Emerald Square Mall for a while
Stopped on the way home for dinner
And just came back here to relax.
It was so fun
I needed that.
