There is No Wake-Up CallIn an email I wrote to a friend recently I said something that didn't fully sink in at the time, but dawns on me a little more every day: it's weird when your dreams become reality

I've noticed this clumping-for-buses phenomenon in London, too. At first I though "wow, people are rude here" but then I realized the problem was the opposite: people are generally too polite and meek. In Quebec, not forming a queue, or trying to jump one, will result in some complete stranger calling you out. Try it out in Ontario, and there will be grumble-mutters, but no one actually says or does anything. So the one or two queue-jumpers end up dictating the whole process. Why bother getting in line when no one enforces the line?
Apart from that, it's nice to hear things are well out West. Those facilities sound amazing.
That sounds like a pretty darn accurate assessment. It's happened that after waiting more-or-less directly underneath the bus stop pole for some time, people will mozy in front of me when the bus arrives without blinking twice. And yeah, I usually let it slide...Before I got here I saw a hilarious, tho' misogynistic, CL rant to the effect of: blah, blah, hot girls, blah, blah, stop being twats, blah, blah, wait your turn like everybody else...and now I tooootally get it.
And yeah, the equipment is pretty sweet. With the exception of the camera that just ate the roll of film I was hoping to develop tomorrow... >_<
Also, what's your address? I shall send you postcards :)
