i want you so hard
oh livejournal, it's been too long. unfortunately, i don't feel like typing a lot, so here are some random highlights of the recent past:
-easter break was lovely, but far too short. i watched this movie "the squid and the whale" with rachael and brian that was so strange but actually really good. i also took a short trip into boston with the 'rents.
-on thursday, which was absolutely gorgeous, i came back to my room after dinner and a starbuck's run with jeff to find a voicemail from my mom. i called her back, and she told me that i got into emerson!! i seriously almost started crying, and proceeded to jump up and down by myself in the room because no one else was there. it feels so good to finally know. i am going to miss the wonderful people i have met at marist so terribly, but i truly feel like this is a change i want and need to make at this point. life is all about variety, right? now, the hunt begins for an apartment and a roommate!
-jeff, tim, and i decided last night, after a few drinks at happy hour, to walk down the road to coco's italian restaurant. bad idea all around, as the families at the surrounding tables were probably not thrilled with the ranting of three drunk/annoying college students. it's fine.
less than three weeks left of school; so much work, but life is good.
