i'm blacking out but it's been fun
update on our common room decorations: we now have a giant amstel light umbrella which somehow looks really cool, and have been inspired to only hang up posters of people named johnny (we were watching jackass: the movie last night and realized that johnny knoxville is hot). being that we now have a poster of johnny depp, and the sex pistols (johnny rotten) it is only fitting that we have a poster of mr. knoxville to complete the johnny madness.
the weekend was great! on friday jacob came to visit, and hung out with my friends and i for a while which was wonderful. later on myself, marie, jess and jill walked to a supposed party but the cops had shown up. so instead we joined will and his roommates back on campus to play various card games, most notably UNO, and hilarity, drink and merriment ensued. i love those kids, for real.
saturday night i went out with jacob and chris to the farmhouse, again. hung out with adam and mackenzie and molly, and met some new people. it was way fun and we invaded brian's apartment when we got back to campus which i feel kind of bad about now. whooooops.
and, really randomly last night i decided to go see some bands at the loft with tati. after wandering around and trying to figure out where we were even supposed to go, the show was really fun. i absolutely hate generic emo shit, but this band my american heart was just reeeeally good live music.
tati and i tried to unsuccessfully stalk the band members later on, and this led to tati screaming "GOOD JOB GUYS!" awkwardly when the lead singer walked by, and me turning around and smirking at him when he was standing behind me. oh well. we need to work on rock star mingling. we ran into mackenzie there and it was quite fun.
on another note, i'm just really happy and content with everything and am convinced that situations/places are what you make of them. with so much going on in the world right now, it kind of bothers me that people rant and complain about such insignificant things and act like it's the end of the world, especially on lj. DEAL WITH IT. everything rules right now! i'm all about enjoying it and i ain't makin' no apologies.
i also kind of want to get into photography. i'm always obsessed with pictures so i'm seriously considering it. sweet deal.
